1. Regularly check the contact condition of the dynamic and static contacts of the electric brake knife brake. If it is found that the compression spring is loose or the single contact finger is not parallel to other contact fingers, etc., problems should be handled in time.
2. The connection part of generator outlet and neutral point lead shall be reliable. During the operation of the unit, infrared imaging temperature measurement shall be carried out on the phase-splitting cable from excitation transformer to static excitation device, the cable from static excitation device to rotor slip ring and rotor slip ring regularly.
3. When the new machine is put into operation and the old machine is overhauled, attention should be paid to check the compression of the stator core and whether the tooth pressure finger is biased, especially the teeth at both ends. If slack is found, it should be treated before it can be put into operation. When the iron core insulation is in doubt, the iron loss test shall be carried out.
4. During the process of manufacturing, transportation, installation and maintenance, attention shall be paid to prevent small foreign matters such as welding slag or metal chips from falling into the ventilation slot of the stator core.

7. Check the cooling system,If the inlet air or water temperature is too high, or the cooler is blocked, the inlet air or water temperature should be reduced, and the blockage in the cooler should be removed. Before the fault is eliminated, the generator load should be limited to reduce the generator temperature.
