Third level maintenance and upkeep of generator sets
According to industry standards, the maintenance and upkeep of generator sets can be divided into three levels. Users can choose different levels of maintenance content and solutions based on the current situation of your equipment
First level maintenance (maintenance period: every 200-250 hours/12 months)
■ External cleaning of the unit, including external cooling fins of the cooling water tank
■ Dust removal from the junction box of the generator (electric ball)
■ Replacement of various filters
■ Inspection and replacement of lubricating oil
■ Inspection and replacement of cooling water
■ Adjustment of various transmission belts
■ Inspection of electrical systems, such as inspection of connectors and functional testing (protection systems and automation systems)
■ Frequency inspection and adjustment
■ Inspection and adjustment of voltage
■ Battery electrolyte replenishment
■ Inspection of external connections of the unit (such as leaks and looseness)
Second level maintenance (maintenance period: every 1000 operating hours/every 24 months)
■ Including all service contents of first level maintenance
■ Adjustment of the engine, such as checking and adjusting the valve clearance and injection pressure of the diesel injector
■ Check and adjust the ignition angle
■ Check the oil pressure and calibrate the oil pressure gauge
■ Temperature inspection of cooling water and calibration of water temperature gauge
■ Check the charging status of the battery by the charging generator
■ Quality inspection of fuel
■ Quality inspection of lubricating oil
■ Quality inspection of cooling water
Third level maintenance (maintenance period: every 2000 operating hours)
■ All service contents including primary and secondary maintenance
■ Adjustment of high-pressure fuel pump, such as fuel supply quantity, injection time, injection angle, etc
■ Remove scale from the cooling water tank and clean the radiator of the water tank
■ Removal of muffler dirt
■ Replacement of transmission belt
■ Drying treatment of the generator (electric ball) (for humid environments) and cleaning of the unit base oil tank
■ Maintenance of the starting motor, replacement of carbon brushes and bearings
■ Remove scale from the cylinder cooling water jacket
